The Speedster's classic lines, chrome detailing and distinctive proportions provided plenty of opportunities for both traditional automotive portraits and tighter detail photography.

Rather than simply photographing the vehicle from a fixed position, we worked through a range of angles and focal lengths to emphasise its shape, details and character.

Automotive photography isn't just about capturing the complete vehicle.

The smaller details are what help tell its story.

Chrome trim, wheels, instrumentation, bodywork and interior details were photographed alongside the wider vehicle portraits to create a more complete visual record of the Speedster.

Donegal provided the backdrop for the shoot, with the Speedster photographed against the mountains, lakes and roads around Errigal and Dunlewey.

The changing conditions throughout the shoot gave us a variety of natural light, from soft overcast conditions to brighter periods later in the day, helping create a collection with different moods and perspectives.

We also incorporated lifestyle elements into the shoot, using the car within its environment rather than treating it purely as a static subject.

Keeping the driver largely anonymous helped maintain the focus on the vehicle while adding a sense of movement and story to the collection.
